DJ Escape is one of those great cross-over DJs that has developed major credibility in both the mainstream and underground club scenes, having transitioned from his old days spinning hip-hop & pop to a harder-edged house and tribal sound. This mix definitely focuses on the harder "real" club tracks, and is exceptional for several sought-after tracks, including the deep tribal Scumfrog mix of Missy Elliott's "Pass That Dutch" and The Crystal Method's alternative-edged house track "Born So Slow". Even the version of "Milkshake" on this disc is a melodic house mix that differs a lot from the pop hit. There are a few major club hits too, like Motorcycle's anthem "As The Rush Comes", Crystal Waters' "My Time", and Praxis feat. Kathy Brown's "Turn Me Out". Even the serious party & circuit crowd will respect and enjoy this mix!
